:: Mint Condition: The Webcomic – Updates Tuesdays and Fridays ::

So, as you may or may not have noticed, there was no comic for last Thursday. I know I didn’t really respond to anyone’s comments or anything regarding it. I basically just said “the comic is late, blah blah blah”.

I was trying to get it finished, but I was so late that I just decided to take the rest of that week off, and post Thursday’s comic today. I figured if I had posted it on friday, or Saturday, then it would get lost in the shuffle come Monday and not many people would see it. So there you go.

I guess I sort of took the rest of that week off as a present to myself for creating 300 comics. It’s a rationalization to me anyway. Thanks for all your concern, but I wasn’t sick again or anything. Just incredibly busy with life in general. It’s nothing anyone should be concerned with, just a lot of things all happening at once this past week and I needed as much energy and sanity as possible so I took a bit of a break from the comic.

That, and Sarah’s laptop has been down for a while now, and while we’re waiting on Dell to deliver a new hard drive, she’s been using my computer (i.e. the computer I make comics on) for her class work. And I told her if she ever needed to use my computer she could. The way I see it, her class work is more important. Or, more urgent I should say. So like I said, numerous factors went into the absence of last Thursday’s comic.

Also, I think the reason I kept getting sick is because I was overworking myself. When my average bedtime is 4 AM there is clearly something wrong.

Hopefully today’s comic is funny enough you all don’t mind the lack of comic last Thursday, but it was either no comic or I was going to have a complete meltdown. You know how when your computer is being overused, it gets the blue screen of death? Like, it’s just not working anymore and gives up? Yeah, that happened to my brain.

The good news is though, having Monday’s comic already finished has allowed me to be completely finished with Thursday’s comic already. Hey, who knows, at this pace, perhaps I can get a buffer going again. That’s my goal anyway.
