Well, sort of…
I had to make the title a little dramatic to get your attention. Now that I have it, I wanted to say today’s comic will be up by Tuesday at the latest, so keep an eye out.
And I also wanted to say, I’m seriously considering changing the update schedule from Monday & Thursday, to Tuesday & Friday. My reasoning for wanting to do this, is mostly for the sake of my sanity. It seems that these days, with everything I have going on, I have less time to do the comics on days that I used to, and more time to do them on say, Mondays, and even Thursdays. So if I had those days to do the comics I could get them done for the next day.
I have almost zero time over the weekend to work on a comic, and while I originally chose Monday and Thursday because I just liked those days, I also did it because it worked well around my schedule. But that was 3 years ago, and my schedule is far different now.
So please, leave your comments on the subject and tell me what you think. I’d like to know before doing anything official, but like I said before, today’s comic won’t be up until later today, possibly Tuesday…because well…I already said why.
So let me know what you think, and if the schedule does change, I really think this will fix the lateness. I’m incredibly confident about those days, because lately that seems to be when I get the new comics up anyway. And I hate being late, so how do you keep yourself from always being late? Change the definition of late.
Anyway, Thursday’s comic will be up on Thursday, just so you know. Nothing official will happen with the schedule this week. I want to know what you all think first. I think of my readers as part of my family, so I always want to know what you think before doing something like this. So let me know.
Until Thursday.

i wouldnt mind the schedule change, as long as you keep pumping out the hilarious comics bi-weekly, i think i could manage.
I have no problem with the change.
I thought the comic was supposed to be up by today.
In John’s defense, Tuesday isn’t over yet.
There’s only 40 minutes left in Tuesday, and still no comic.
ya, but now its wednesday, and still no comic
That’s it. I’m going to tell on you now because you lied to me John!
John, dude. Where’s the comic?
If it takes you so long to color a comic, leave the regular ones black and white and have specials in color.
Don’t whine guys or he’ll release another comic about not bitching if you don’t pay to read the comic. ^_^
I shall bitch all I want, and he should know that I’m going to complain.
Nah, I wouldn’t do that. You guys come here every other day to read a new comic. You all support me, the least I could do is make sure there’s a .jpg here for you to read every Monday and Thursday (or every Tuesday and Friday as the case is now).
Those comics were never really inteded purely at readers of Mint Condition. I kind of did them for Webcartoonists everywhere who have been plagued by those sorts of people. None of my fans have ever elicited behavior that would call for a visit from the Foundation police, but I even have to remind MYSELF of this on occasion.
And it’s not just Webcomics either, but any free online content. I don’t have to pay for Youtube, so I shouldn’t bitch when they take down a certain video because of copyright infringement or something like that.
I shouldn’t bitch about an article on Cracked not being very funny, because hey…I don’t have to pay for it.
Those are just examples though. But I think I’m going to retire that series. I did them when I was younger, when the comic was still an infant, and it seemed like a good idea at the time. But really, I think they’re just sort of petty. Maybe if the situation calls for it, but I’d like everyone who reads the comic to know I never aimed them at any of you.
But I guarantee you that if you spend time on the internet, you have encountered people that you wish you could visit like the Foundation police. Don’t deny it.
Psh…Nathan and I used to say it to each other all the time when one would pay for lunch and the other one would complain about something, so it was mostly said to me. I complained anyway though.
