I think he was just choosing the random characters to draw the different styles on because Nathan is definantly not “macho,” nor do I feel we should worry about him thinking he is, and Jimmy is not really dark. It was just for visual effects.
Very interesting, the style is definitely unique. The bottom left panel reminds me of John Lennon. Well John I have a new comic I’m planning on putting on my page, I hope once I get some up you can come comment. It’s going to be a life experience comic about my diagnoses of Cancer with a humorous twist to it. I hope you enjoy it I’m calling it “Cancer Blows, so why not chew Bubblegum”, considering I was just diagnosed it will probably be a while before I get any pages up, not to mention the chemo knocks me on my ass a bit, so keep on the lookout.

The styles were all showing what the characters like. Nathan likes Fist of the North Star, which is all muscles and exploding heads.
Ah. I think it’s a little weird that I knew the Sin City thing about you, but I didn’t know that about Nathan.
