Sorry for the absence. I’m dealing with family stuff right now and this whole week (Monday – Friday to be exact) I’ll be going out of town clear across state to see my family.
Sorry for kinda springing it on you.
To answer a couple of questions:
1. No I’m not dead.
2. The special comic I’m working on isn’t finished yet, but I’ll finish it up as soon as I get back.
Now there will be a comic this Tuesday, but not Friday (unless someone wants to send me a guest comic) HINT HINT. My friend Dave (yeah the Dave from the comic) was kind enough to help me pick up the slack with a guest comic for Tuesday. So yeah, like I said, unless someone wants to send me another guest comic for Friday there won’t be one. Again, apologies all around, but right now family comes first.
Hopefully when I come back I can get things back on track.
TweetSo yeah, if you couldn’t tell already, today’s comic was not drawn by me. Remember on Monday when I said I was starting to feel better? Well, it seems nature is cruel, because I woke up Tuesday with a horrible headache and the feeling like my body weighed a ton. Basically, I was sick. Again. So that means I’ve been sick since Sunday, and today is when I just started to feel better. I’m not 100% just yet, and needless today I didn’t have near enough energy to make a comic for today.
Luckily, friend of the site Carl Davis, of Infinity Komix had recently sent me a guest comic in case I ever needed one. And it just seemed like fate…or luck, knowing me. Anyway, I apologize for not having something ready, because I do like Mint Condition to come fully from me, but I also wanted something for today, so I hope you enjoy the wonderfully rendered comic from Carl and look forward to a new comic, by me, this Monday.
Also, he sent me two versions of the comic. The one you see here and one in color which is the image you see to the right. Just click it to see the full-sized version. I feel lucky. Instead of virgin sacrifices, I just get a good Webcomic buddy and guest comics and stuff. Although technically nothing has been thrown out regarding sacrifices, but I’m in good spirits.
Now wish me luck so that my apparent good health will remain long enough to keep you all entertained. And Cthulhu knows I’m going to need the energy and good health. First of all, this weekend is the Great Texas G.I. Joe Show and you know I’m going to be there. And secondly, and more importantly, the 3 year anniversary of Mint Condition is coming up. July 23rd, to be exact. And I don’t want to spoil anything, but you all know I like to do something special each year to celebrate Mint Condition’s anniversary. And this year I’ve got something big planned. Feel free to speculate all you want, but I won’t be saying yea or nay to anything suggested. You’ll just have to wait and see.
